DSWD Called on Public to Support Typhoon Nina Victims

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) called on the public to hep in the repacking of relief good for victims of Typhoon Nina (International name: Nock-Ten).

Those interested may coordinate with DSWD personnel. Latest data shows that more than 100,000 families have been affected by the typhoon in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Region 5 and Region 8.

The DSWD also urged typhoon victims not t hesitate to approach local government units for their needs. It added that the public may report to them any irregularity they may observe in the distribution of relief goods.
